Although this cell features a significantly oversized "max" current rating of 40A on the wrap, almost like Imren 18650 3500mAh, it provides accurate continuous current and capacity ratings.
I appreciate the mention of the continuous discharge rating (CDR) on the wrap. Still, I am displeased with including a "max" current rating, especially when it is displayed more prominently than the CDR. I hope Imren eliminates the max rating shortly.
The cells I tested delivered 3249mAh and 3337mAh at a current of 0.5A down to 2.5V.
These battery cells performed admirably, slightly surpassing the performance of the five top contact cells wrapped by iJoy, Efest, EBAT, Ampking, and others.
